Boston Marathon Art Exhibit
The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) and the 26.2 Foundation is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated 2025 Winged Feet Exhibition and Auction — an extraordinary celebration of art, creativity, and community. This year’s event promises to be bigger and more inspiring than ever, showcasing an incredible lineup of local artists while offering attendees the unique opportunity to bring home a piece of this artistic magic through the exciting auction. Canman is honored to participate in this event by entering his work “Boston Strong”.
About the Winged Feet Exhibition and Auction
Both 501(c)(3) organizations, have a collection of local artists submitting a Winged Foot, a project celebrating the Boston Marathon. The Winged Feet will be displayed on the Hopkinton Town Common from April 6 through April 27. Winged Feet will be auctioned off to benefit the Hopkinton Center for the Arts and the 26.2 Foundation.
This year we are excited to announce that Bobbi Gibb, artist and the first woman to run the Boston Marathon, will be painting a Winged Foot for the Exhibition.
What to Expect
Inspiring Artwork
The 2025 Winged Feet Exhibition will feature an impressive collection. Artists will be provided a winged foot cut-out of Versatex. The winged feet will be approximately 2 feet wide by 3-foot-high exterior art installations that will be mounted to a metal pole which will rest at eye level. Visitors can expect to see works from both established and emerging artists, each offering a unique interpretation of the “Boston Marathon” motif.
Exclusive Auction
The highlight of the event is the live and silent auction, where guests will have the opportunity to bid on select pieces from the exhibition. Proceeds from the auction directly support the Hopkinton Center for the Arts’ mission to provide accessible arts programming and education to the community and the 26.2 Foundation with the goal to advance the global sport of marathoning while harnessing the power of the human spirit and its capacity for good.
